By accessing or using Save Translated Words (the “Service”) — the browser extension and the web dashboard — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Save Translated Words lets you select a word or short phrase on any webpage, get an instant translation, and save it to a personal dictionary. Saved words can be reviewed later with spaced-repetition (SM-2) flashcards on the web dashboard. The Service is not a full-page translator — it's built for catching individual words and short phrases as you browse.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides all customer service inquiries related to billing. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
The free plan includes up to 200 saved words and 50 translations a day. The Pro plan removes both limits for $10/month, billed and processed through Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from the billing page. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time within a period.
The Service — its design, code, and branding — is the intellectual property of Save Translated Words. You retain ownership of the words, translations, and notes you save using the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including translation accuracy — translations are generated automatically by a third-party provider (DeepL) and may contain errors.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access is revoked and your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Save Translated Words operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
